"When one has made a decision...even if it will be very difficult to succeed by advancing straight ahead, it will not do to think about going at it in a long roundabout way. One's heart may slacken, he may miss his chance, and by and large there will be no success. The Way...is one of immediacy, and it is best to dash in headlong"

Monday: Food, Food, and more Food

Mondays are usually a lighter day for me, since I've been doing 2-a-days on Saturday and Sunday.

Workout @ Bally's, 6:00a:

Warmup:
500m row (1:55)
0.5 mi run (8:00/mi pace)

Bench Press:
135x8
165x5
190x7
190x7
190x7

Double unders, situps, planks, stretching (getting better at doing this after workouts)

0.9 mi run on treadmill (alternated walks and sprints)

Food Log:

I ate all day today.

5:30a: 1 scoop whey, H20, few spoonfuls of unsweetened applesauce
7:15a: smoothie--whole milk, 2 scoops whey, blueberries, almond butter
8:30a: 1/2 chicken kabob (about 3 pieces chicken and 3 veggies)
9:15a: stew/chili--stew meat, shredded chicken breast, mushrooms, peppers, 1/2 avocado (switched it up this week form the ground beef)
10:14a: nuts
11:15a: 3 eggs (whole, scrambeld), 1 chicken sausage, 10 nuts
12:30p: packet of jerky, handful of nuts
2:30p: salmon, broccoli, 1/2 'cado
4:00p: musclemilk lite
6:30p: 2 turkey patties, 2 eggs (whole, sunnysideup), plantain chips
9:30p: smoothie--whole milk, 1.5 scoops caesin protein, almond butter

Felt full the entire day, which was a good thing. Finally got around to buying some caesin protein for my pre-bed shake. Had been using whey but caesin is slower digesting. Used to put cottage cheese in my shakes in the past, but I'd say that the caesin chocolate powder is more tasty--pretty much tasted like a chocolate milkshake.
