"When one has made a decision...even if it will be very difficult to succeed by advancing straight ahead, it will not do to think about going at it in a long roundabout way. One's heart may slacken, he may miss his chance, and by and large there will be no success. The Way...is one of immediacy, and it is best to dash in headlong"

Monday

AM workout, 6:00a @ Bally's:

Didn't do a ton today--forearms and biceps were pretty tired from yesterday's 2-a-day.

Warmup:
0.5 mi run (8:00/mi)
500 m row (2:05)

Bench Press
136x6
160x6
190x5
190x4
190x5
135x15

Still trying to work up to 2 sets of 190 at 8. I seem to have plateaued a bit on bench, would be nice to have a reliable spotter. My strength numbers aren't usually as strong in the morning as they are later in the day, since I basically roll out of bed and am working out 20 minutes later.

Circuit of double unders, pushups, crunches, overhead lunges w/ #45 plate.

0.5 mi run (7:30/mi)

Weighed myself this AM before heading to the gym, right at 157.0. Not really a noticeable difference from what I'm usually at on Monday mornings, so I tried to eat more today.

Food Log for Monday:
5:30a: 3 egg whites, few spoonfuls of unsweetened applesauce, handful of nuts
7:00a: smoothie--1% milk (went off the choco--not nearly as delicious), whey protein, almond butter
8:30a: paleo chili--ground beef, shredded chicken breast, black olives, salsa
9:30a: 15 almonds, cup of black coffee
10:40a: 4 eggs (3 yolks), turkey, chicken sausage
12:30p: small handful of nuts, few pieces of jerky, cup of black coffee
2:30p: salmon, cauliflower
4:00p: nuts, rest of the jerky
6:30p: 2 ground beef patties (90 or 95% lean), 1/2 avocado
8:30p: bowl of chili
9:30p: smoothie--milk, whey, almond butter

Working out tomorrow morning and then at CFC tomorrow night. Plan on getting in some squats and either a row or run in the AM and then doing Monday's Press and Metcon at night. Saw that double unders are in it, but also saw wall balls--should be a good one.
