"When one has made a decision...even if it will be very difficult to succeed by advancing straight ahead, it will not do to think about going at it in a long roundabout way. One's heart may slacken, he may miss his chance, and by and large there will be no success. The Way...is one of immediacy, and it is best to dash in headlong"

Thurs. Workout, 6a @ CFC:

Haven't made it to a 6am glass in awhile, but The Judge was kind enough to give me a ride this morning. Going on four days of workouts and was pretty tired from Wednesday night's challenge workout, so just did some skills this morning. Worked with Coach Rudy for a good 45 minutes on snatches.

Worked in multiple sets of triples at light weights--#75-#95-#105-#115. Doubles and singles @ #125. Weight wasn't heavy, but technique is my biggest area of improvement on the olympic lifts.

Started developing a consistent setup and prep position when I approach the bar and set my feet. Also worked on setting the bar out in front more, rather than pulling it to my shins from the starting position. It was good to get in a large amount of reps and not have to worry about rushing my sets. Getting consistent and polishing up my technique will be key for the meet, since we only get 3 attempts at each lift. Legs were actually pretty tired by the end of the session.

Lady Antebellum concert tonight downtown, pretty pumped!
