"When one has made a decision...even if it will be very difficult to succeed by advancing straight ahead, it will not do to think about going at it in a long roundabout way. One's heart may slacken, he may miss his chance, and by and large there will be no success. The Way...is one of immediacy, and it is best to dash in headlong"

Active Rest Day

Wednesday Workout:

Felt tired this morning, so slept in until 6am. Went for an easy 25 minute run, just trying to enjoy the last of the good running weather. Won't be doing too much running in the months ahead.

Wednesday Diet:
7:00a: protein shake
8:45a: 2 eggs (scrambled), flank steak, 1/2 avocado
10:30a: few pieces of jerky, handful of nuts
12:30p: Potbelly's salad--2x chicken, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, bacon, hard boiled egg, non-fat dressing
7:00p: bone-in fillet, asparagus
5:00p-1:30a: ~10 or so drinks (beer, wine)

Big meeting today at work, followed by dinner at a steakhouse. Hopefully won't be too bad in terms of solid Paleo options, as it doesn't get any better than some steak and veggies.

Update: dinner choices were good, but definitely tired this morning. After my firm's meeting we had a happy hour from 5-6:30, followed by dinner until 10:30 and then the restaurant bar. Got in a cab at about 1:30 from Evanston and made it back to the city (and bed) by 2am. Woke up at about 7 this morning so it's going to be a long day. Still planning on doing a Hero workout at this point.
